Refund Counter Over Registry entry

Specifies whether an over payment at the Counter may be converted into a refund.

Vitalware by default assumes that an over payment cannot be received at the Counter: when cash is used as a payment, change is given; and when checks are written, they will match the expected payment total. There are occasions when this may not be the case however. For example, when a money order is used as a payment or when someone presents a check written by someone else. This entry is used to define whether or not an over payment can be converted into a refund at the Counter.

is true (the over payment can be converted into a refund) or false (the over payment will remain as an over).

Note: If set to true, the refund will go through normal refund processing.
